About me
Cathy Sellers is an Administrative Law Judge with the Division of Administrative Hearings. She has served in this position since 2011 and presides over environmental and and other regulatory/general jurisdiction cases. Before joining DOAH, she was in private law practice for 23 years, where she practiced before Florida and federal environmental and other administrative agencies. She served as an adjunct professor at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, teaching Florida Administrative Law, from 1999 to 2021; is a past Chair of the Administrative Law Section of the Florida Bar; is Florida Bar board-certified in State and Federal Government and Administrative Practice; and authored the Florida Administrative Practice CLE Manual chapter titled "Overview of the Administrative Procedure Act." Judge Sellers earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Florida, and her law degree from the Florida State University College of Law.
