Dr. Kiefer is a licensed environmental engineer and fluvial geomorphologist leading a multidisciplinary stream restoration design team. He is the lead author of a Florida stream classification and design manual, has developed novel construction techniques, and studied 100’s of Florida streams. His work helps clients improve water quality, reduce flooding, manage erosion, protect infrastructure, increase fish and wildlife habitat, and build more resilient communities.
